Crystal Campos-Juarez is a seasoned photographer, with a decade of experience in family portraiture. Her passion for photography began in high school when she enrolled in her first photography course. There, she learned the ins and outs of shooting and developing her own black and white film and photographs.
Her professional career started at Classic Kids Photography in Hinsdale, IL where she was an assistant, before her promotion to photographer. After 8 years with the company, in 2022, Crystal sought out a change in career, and became a mama.
Photography continued to tug at her heart, and eager to continue capturing joy and love of family, Crystal founded Tesoro Photography in the fall of 2023.
At home, Crystal is enjoying motherhood with her fun-loving 2 year old son, alongside her husband and 2 cats, Panda and Keanu.

But, where does Tesoro come from? The name was inspired by a childhood nickname given to Crystal by her father. In Spanish, Tesoro is defined as treasure, and a photograph in its simplest form is a little treasure that reminds us all of moments to remember and cherish.
